The Bestcoast Festival 2009
Flaks Juggling group presents the 9th Bestcoastfestival in Stavanger, Norway, Friday 7th -Tuesday 11th August 2009.
Location:
We repeat the success from the two last year, and welcome you to Tou Scene - an old beer-brewery that has been transformed into a cultural venue, with two stages, and large areas for workshops/free juggling. There is also a restaurant, serving beer, wine and good food. We are thrilled about this beautiful venue, as it is perfect for our juggling festival! The sleeping arrangement will be different this year, but are not yet confirmed. Still working on this.
Workshops:
All workshops has not yet been planned, but the artists will probably host one. If you also wish to host a workshop, please contact Anders at juggling@popstar.com. If you host a workshop, you’ll get a 50% discount on your ticket.

Monday & Tuesday:
As always, we’ll give you a taste of the Norwegian nature. This years destination is not yet decided, but we´ll camp at a beautiful place in the area around Stavanger, have a big BBQ, juggle fire, try to catch some fish in the ocean, and breathe fresh air!
Remember to bring your sleeping bags, mats, and tents. No tent? Maybe you can find a lonely girl/boy to camp with ;-)
Cost/Info:
The price of the whole weekend, trip on Monday included, will be 350/500 NOK pre-reg/at the door. This includes workshops, food, roof over your head, galla-show, probably a concert and the trip on Monday/Tuesday. It does not include food Monday and Tuesday.
Pre-registration:
If you live outside Norway, just send me an email vildebroen@hotmail.com before July 1st with your name, and tell us that you are coming. This will work as a pre-registration, and you’ll pay 350 NOK at the door.
If you live in Norway:
Pre-registration can be done by transferring the right amount of money to account nr: 6045.06.31445. Remember to include your name, and bring a printed copy of the transaction or e-mail!
Xtra:
* You can buy equipment at the festival. Our own juggle-shop will have some equipment, and we are talking to other shops about coming.
* Video-Projector: Bring your DVD’s!
* We will have our traditional festival- massage available for everyone with sore muscles.
